Some of my friends belong to a group that's really hard to explain. But they wear Ren Faire-esque / SCA style clothing, have royalty and a court, and a bunch of traditions, including a party on their Founding Day with a bad-beer-tasting contest. These are the pictures from that party, which I happened to attend this year.
