Some time ago, The InnKeeper discovered the book The Five Love Languages by Dr. Gary Chapman, and his subsequent books for singles, children, etc. The InnKeeper really liked the idea that the ways we express our love for each other could be grouped and categorized, and then given a set of language to describe how we express our love and how we feel loved. But the InnKeeper did not like being limited to viewing this concept through the lens of the religious and gender expression of the author. These concepts could be explored much more broadly to describe people of different belief systems, different gender expressions, and different relationship structures.

So the InnKeeper has put together a talk explaining the concepts behind The Five Love Languages and how they can be applied to people of different worldviews and perspectives. This more inclusive approach still works even for the target demographic of the author's original intent, but without excluding other demographics or without making people of other demographics wade through subjective perspectives that do not apply in order to find the parts that do.

This presentation has now been given at a variety of venues and the InnKeeper is available to present at your event or organization. It can be tailored specifically to your event and your expected audience. Please contact The InnKeeper to schedule a presentation.
